We make paper pallets, not just sell them. Kraft honeycomb decks and runners engineered to your load, built in Balakong, Selangor — around 5kg a pallet, ISPM-15 exempt in every country, and recyclable wherever they land.
How we make a paper pallet
1. Core. Kraft paper is glued in offset lines, stacked, pressed and sliced, then expanded into a hexagonal honeycomb core and dried so the cells hold their shape.
2. Deck. The core is laminated between heavy kraft liners to the deck thickness the load calls for, then cut to the pallet footprint.
3. Base. Honeycomb or laminated-paper runners or blocks are cut and positioned for two-way or four-way forklift entry, matched to how the pallet will be supported — floor, racking or conveyor.
4. Assembly. Deck and base are bonded with water-based adhesive. Optional moisture-resistant coating or PE lamination is applied for humid routes.
5. Check. Dimensions and flatness are checked against the specification before the batch is stacked for delivery or flat-packed for export.

Weight is around 5kg for typical export builds and varies with footprint and deck thickness. Load ratings are engineered per pallet from your cargo and support condition rather than quoted as a single generic number.
Where paper pallets win — and where they don't
One-way export is the sweet spot: the pallet ships once, the customer recycles it, and you have paid freight on 5kg instead of 25kg. Air freight amplifies the saving — at typical rates the difference is around US$90 (about RM400) per pallet. Automated warehouses benefit from dimensional consistency that timber cannot offer.
Where we will steer you elsewhere: permanently wet environments, open-deck exposure and multi-year closed-loop reuse. Standard honeycomb is not waterproof, and for a pallet that must survive a decade of return trips, plastic or hardwood remains the better tool.

A typical specification — illustrative
Say a machinery exporter needs to move 600kg pumps on 1200 x 1000mm pallets, four-way entry, stacked two high in a 40-foot container, sea freight to the Middle East.
The spec that comes back: a 30mm deck with a 15mm cell and heavy liners, nine honeycomb blocks for four-way entry, and a moisture-resistant coating for the humid crossing. Weight a little over 5kg. A sample pair goes to the customer's loading bay first, and the production run is scheduled once the forklift team has signed it off.

What is a paper pallet made of?
A paper pallet is built from kraft honeycomb board: a hexagonal paper core laminated between flat kraft liners for the deck, with honeycomb or laminated-paper runners or blocks underneath. The whole unit is paper and water-based adhesive, which is why it weighs around 5kg and recycles in the ordinary paper stream.
How much weight can a paper pallet hold?
It depends on the build. Load capacity is set through deck thickness, cell size, paper grade and runner configuration, and phb specifies each pallet to the cargo. Typical export builds carry static loads comparable to plywood pallets. Share your load weight, dimensions and how the pallet will be supported — floor, racking or conveyor — and we will engineer it accordingly.
Are paper pallets ISPM-15 compliant?
They are ISPM-15 exempt, which is better than compliant. The standard regulates solid wood packaging; processed paper is biologically inert and outside its scope entirely. No heat treatment, no fumigation, no IPPC stamp and no phytosanitary certificate is needed in any destination country.
What sizes do paper pallets come in?
Common footprints include 1200 x 1000mm (industrial), 1200 x 800mm (EUR), 1100 x 1100mm (Asia) and 1219 x 1016mm (48 x 40 inch). Custom footprints are routine, including half and quarter pallets and container-optimised sizes. Two-way and four-way entry are both available.
